Former Indiana State Trooper, David Camm

Commendable Behaviour and Testimony by ISP Expert Lynn Scamahorn

On Tuesday 21 February 2006, in the David Camm trial in Boonville Indiana, Lynn Scamahorn gave disturbing testimony relating to the first David Camm Trial.

Indiana State Police Expert, Ms Scamahorn, testified that the then Floyd County Indiana Prosecutor, Stan Faith, had a conversation with her in his office during a break in her testimony. Ms Scamahorn testified that Mr Faith asked her to testify that David Camm’s DNA was found on a sweatshirt discovered at the scene of the murders of his wife and two children. Ms Scamahorn had recorded no such findings in her written report and, apparently, did not succumb to Mr Faith’s demands for her to change her testimony. Ms Scamahorn is reported to have testified, on Tue 21 Feb 06, that Mr Faith shouted and swore at her during their meeting, and that he made threats relating to her job security.

When contacted by WLKY News, on Tue 21 Feb 06, Mr Faith denied Ms Scamahorn’s allegations.
